The Rini Family

Hello Friends!

I never knew how beautiful a desert landscape could be until I photographed this super cute couple here at Red Rock State Park, CA. This session is probably one of my favorite sessions ever… At least so far… hahaha Fun little story. My husband actually introduced me to Cheyenne several years ago because her husband used to work with mine. I was looking for a hair stylist here in Antelope Valley and refused to go to just anyone. Y’all ladies know what I’m talking about. Anyway, turns out Cheyenne is like… THE BEST hair stylist ever and I’ve been trusting her with my hair for almost… three years or so. Something like that. Over that time, we became friends and man… Can I talk her ear off during my hair styling session! (Thanks for being my therapist Cheyenne! Also, I need a hair cut… hahaha) I love connecting with people and creating friendships, it’s about connection! Don’t you ladies love it when you become friends with your hair stylist? Cheyenne is actually the first hairstylist that I’ve had that I’ve become friends with. So feel honored Cheyenne!!!! Just kidding, just kidding… But really… Hahaha Do men become friends with their hair stylists? Wait. Men have barbers. Do men become buddies with their barbers? Someone answer this for me!

In addition to being one of the coolest and chillest people I know, Cheyenne is also one of the most supportive women I know. When she learned that I was starting up my business as a photographer, she referred me to a lady who was looking for a wedding photographer. (That blog is coming soon too… Heh.) Not only did she refer me, but the bride-to-be booked with me! I was so stoked and felt so blessed that I had a friend throwing their support in the ring for me. I was so thankful for her support that I offered her a “thank you for your support” couples session for her and husband. I’m so glad she took me up on the offer because I think they received some really beautiful photos of their little family!

I hope y’all enjoy these series of photos!

Until next time,

Capture Memories and Climb On!

P.S. this blog took me roughly three and half hours to get up. Want to know why? Well, let me tell you why. First, our router completely pooped out today. Like, wouldn’t even connect with the modem. It pooped out literally at the same exact time my husband came home with a new router. Second, we have terrible data reception on our phones at our house for some strange reason. So, it took us almost an hour to TRY to download the Google Home app. We actually had to go next door and ask our neighbor if we could hop on their wifi so that we could download the app. Funnily enough, we had full bars at our neighbors. Interesting… So after our neighbors kindly let us hop on their wifi, we were able to finally download the app to set up our Google Home. That was good little visit with our neighbors tough because it resulted in a cookout for this weekend! Yay! Back to internet issues, the process of setting up our Google Home took longer than it should have because of terrible data reception. THEN I kept having to reset the new router until it finally connected with our internet properly. Oh, and before that, I was on the phone with our internet provider for a half hour trying to figure out what was wrong with our internet. Then! After we got the internet up and going in our house again, I sat down to finish up this blog and get it posted when the cat started throwing up!!! So we had to get the bissell and clean that up. Because, well, cat throw up and carpet don’t go well together… Cat throw up and anything doesn’t go well together… *sigh* So, I would really appreciate if you did take the time to read this, that you also take the time to leave me a comment under the photos. πŸ™‚ Now, if nobody and the cat doesn’t mind, I’m going to make dinner….

Cats are jerks… But we love them.. Glad you got your blog up and going πŸ™‚

    • Yes, they can be! I don’t know what her problem was tonight. She didn’t start throwing up on the carpet until the last two months… She was probably trying to throw up an ear plug that she probably snagged from under my pillow. And thanks! I’m glad we have internet again. lol!
